Latest College Updates COVID-19 Health and Safety Measures We are a COVID-secure College Updated March 2022 We are a COVID-secure college and we have maintained some COVID-19 health and safety measures to ensure the college is a safe and secure place to study and stay. We aim to always ensure the college is a welcoming place but we realise that visitors will require reassurance that it is also a safe place. COVID-related measures that are still in place include: Although it is no longer a legal requirement for students, staff and visitors to wear masks, we support anyone who wishes to wear a mask at the college Hand sanitizer points are in easily accessible places around the building All classrooms have safe air purifiers running when the classroom is in use Extra air purifying of classrooms is undertaken overnight when the classrooms are not in use Having windows open, when practical, is encouraged We have high precision Co2 detectors in classrooms which are monitored regularly When the weather is warmer, where practical we promote the use of our 6 acres of grounds Regular cleaning of the college is undertaken throughout the day Students and staff are required to adhere to recommended behaviours to ensure the college remains a comfortable, harmonious and enjoyable place to study Health and safety signage is in place throughout the college We continue to monitor the state of COVID-19 in the UK and we are ready and prepared to re-implement any requirements made by the government should it be necessary in the future.
